Meditations

Notes:
This post and the past two are products of individuals and the values thereof have not been thoroughly reviewed as far as doctrine is concerned. However, it makes for a great read and I suspect there isn't any doctrinal errors in these meditations if done in light of Christian truth. For all who are reading, stay steadfast in prayer and charity.

I am transcribing my thoughts here in hopes of discovering within myself a manifestation of truth. I believe it is important to ponder those things that reside deep in us, because such things hold much value to be learned. I have lived a life of mistakes, conflicts, and contradictions; throughout my life though I have found things to keep me going, to help me cope with my past and reform my future.

Naturally within humans there is a point in life that we resolve to be good people. For some, that resolution quickly becomes a childhood memory forgotten, but for me and others, it is a recurring solution. Being a good person is much more than a dream for us, it is a part of our purpose for being: to be such a being that through us, others can see virtue and a glimpse of the truth that has been revealed to mus. And this is this truth: that all beings, regardless of character, origin, age, gender, are called to a life of virtue as it is representative of the dignity and majesty of the Almighty Creator. The Almighty is not acknowledged by all, yet all are subject to him, to each a revelation is given, and upon this they are ultimately responsible, for who is given much much more is expected, and who is given little, a little more is expected. Those who are called to know the Lord in heart should act in heart as the Lord would, and to those that know the Lord in mind, are called to act according to the Lord in mind, and all are called to know the Lord in soul, and must act accordingly to the soul. All are called to know the Lord in soul, and all are called to be saved, regardless of environment, for His grace transcends human culture, divisions, nationality, and impudence. Not all believe this idea, but it is the only type of idea that can incorporate all within God's salvation history. For those who understand the Lord in heart, mind, and soul are expected an excellence of behavior, which is in appearance different from the one who only knows the Lord in heart and soul, and again distinct from the one who only knows the Lord in the soul, yet all three are equal before God, different excellence rendered unto different revelation of truth, yet to each their own standard, for equal judgment before God.

For the one that calls "Lord, Lord!" but does not heed the commands of God has no value, better the one that knows no God, but heeds God's command, for he knows within his soul what the Lord wants, for it is like the two sons that the father commands, one contradicts his command in action but acknowledges in word, while the other contradicts the words, but acknowledges in action, better the hypocrite of words, but righteous in action, than the hypocrite of action righteous in word alone. It is the obedient, even the grudging one, that finds favor with God, not the one that speaks with his lips sweet words but brings malice in his deeds.

For the Father commands his work be done, those that heed the Father, perform his works; however, there are 3 forms in which those that heed the father manifest themselves: the one that heeds in soul, mind, and heart, and have a most intimate connection with God and his plan, and they act in full acknowledgment of what they do and for what purpose; then there is the one that acts in the heart and soul, but not the mind, they know their work is good, but their understanding is lacking, but they incline to do good as they feel from the heart; then there is the one that acts only from the soul, they do not understand their works, or why they are inclined, but they do what they can with then own powers.

of these all are equal, yet of different excellence, but all perform according to what's been given.

For the one that understands in the soul, mind, and heart have the highest standard, but in their mistakes are judged more critically, since they have been given more. However, their will is strongly reinforced within the Lord and are not easily deceived away from his works.

For the one that understands in the soul and heart have a lower standard, but are still judged according to their heart, however, they can be deceived from their works by powers of the mind, in which clever reasoning overcomes, causing them to leave their sacred work.

For the one that understands only in the soul finds it a hard time to be consistent in their work, for their heart can be swayed as well as their mind. Without strong influences that are positive from others, those that live only on the whims of their minds and hearts often overlook their soul, for the one who lives in soul alone must contemplate within their soul, so that the heart and mind can develop in accordance to the soul, but yet this is where the soul is left alone, while the mind and heart are deceived away from good work.

If any of these three forms reject their heritage though, then they are lost, for God's given grace and goodness in them is abandoned, without a resurgence within the soul, heart, and mind, they will continue to follow a path away from righteousness.

therefore it is the highest importance that the soul be visited often, to give strength to the mind and heart to understand and feel the goodness of God. For though ourselves are weak, in Him we are strong.
